Community Interest Company (CIC)
We established a Community Interest Company (CIC) in October 2021 to provide a constitution or “Article of Association” to outline the objectives and guidelines of our social enterprise.
The CIC is a company limited by guarantee, with a core of directors, who take responsibility for ensuring that it stays on track and carries out all the duties expected of it, including having regular meetings, an AGM and accounts prepared every year. All profits that the company make (if any) will be recycled back into the company, for the benefit of our community.
